By accessing or using ResumeTune (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeTune is an AI-powered tool that analyzes your resume against a specific job description and generates an optimized resume, cover letter, and interview preparation questions. The Service uses AI language models to generate these outputs.

3. Free and Paid Plans

• Free plan: 3 resume analyses per browser session. No account required.
• Pro plan ($12/month): Unlimited analyses. Billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime.
• Pay-per-use ($3/analysis): Single one-time payment for one additional analysis.

Prices may change. Current pricing is always shown on the main page before purchase.

4. Payments and Refunds

• All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's customer portal.
• Refunds: Due to the digital and immediately-consumed nature of the service, we generally do not offer refunds. If you experience a technical error that prevented the service from functioning, contact us within 7 days for a case-by-case review.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your resume and job description.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits (e.g., clearing cookies to obtain additional free analyses fraudulently).
• Not use the Service to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Not reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate requests to the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The resume optimizations, cover letters, and interview questions generated by ResumeTune are produced by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. ResumeTune does not guarantee that using our output will result in job interviews or employment.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content you upload. The AI-generated output is provided to you for personal use. The ResumeTune brand, interface, and code are our intellectual property.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResumeTune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of employment opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
